I love the listeners of ZEN commuter for a variety of reasons.  One of the best reasons though is that they tell me what is on their minds in regards to meditation, specifically questions to deepen their practice.  Such is the case today.  Listener Rudy L. emailed me to ask of there is a way to combine meditation and exercise.  He was interested in knowing if there was a way to mitigate the pain in his calfs when he was on the treadmill, or at least address it in a mindful way.  To that end, I asked him if I could answer his question on the air.
