606: Life Strategies: How to Distance Yourself From Negative Family, Friends and Coworkers

Yesterday I talked about how to remove yourself from conversations with negative people.  These conversations were with casual acquaintances, one offs, meetings you have infrequently or possibly never again.

The goal was to help you first determine how to spot negative participants before they end up with you in a conversation, and the other was to find ways to leave if the conversation already started.

I want to help you begin to set yourself up with a positive group of people.  However, sometimes the people that are negative are people we see every day, perhaps family friends or coworkers.  How do you deal with them?  I will talk about that today.

Things you will learn in this episode:

  • How to determine why people are in your life
  • The difference between negativity and Life Lessons
  • How to distance yourself from negative family, friends and/or coworkers
