This week I have been trying to take the scariness out of meditation. Those two words, scary and meditation, seem so opposed. Meditation is a practice that provides a multitude of health benefits along with peace of mind.
Yet I also know that many people find it scary because it is something that seems to mystical and overwhelming. Many people feel that those who have developed the ability to meditate are part of some elite group. They possess some innate ability to rid their minds of all thoughts.
The truth is absolutely everyone has the ability to meditate. Today I talk about the most common forms of meditation. In doing so I hope to help you find the one that is right for you.
