One of the greatest challenges to losing weight is the process of eating.  Many people eat out of habit or sadness and frustration.  This exercise is not a meditation in the traditional sense of the word, but more an exercise that teaches you how to eat mindfully.  By eating your food in a mindful manner you will learn how to savor the food in that moment as well as be able to heed the signs of fullness from your body.
