Listen to this episode and all others below

"Once you learn to read you are forever free" - Frederick Douglas

As of 2015 almost 1 billion people are unable to read worldwide.  There are several ways to grow as a person, to experience the best that you are.  It is indeed reading.  So how do one billion people become better?  They rely on the kindness of others such as ourselves to help them, not out of pity by any means, but as a means to lift them up.

Today I share with you a cause that is very close to my heart, literacy.  Come listen as I discuss some facts, figures and ways for you to help.

Topics Discussed

  • The signs of illiteracy
  • Worldwide literacy statistics
