415: Learning How to Be Empathetic Helps YOU Feel Better

Question of the Day:

What would you say to a friend who was in a car accident? The car is totaled, but they are uninjured.  This isn’t as easy as it sounds.  Don’t simply rely on the simple response, at least you are safe.  Go deeper.

How could you empathize with someone who is going through something that you have never experienced, suppose a friend loses their house in a fire, or on a uplifting note, suppose they won the lottery for $25,000 dollars.
