There are many reasons reasons why people tune out of life. It can be hectic, scary and overwhelming. But even if life is all those things, you can handle it...without numbing yourself. And when I say numb yourself, I mean in little ways and in huge ways.
The good news is though, if you are introspective, you can see when you are dropping out out of life, running away a little bit. In the event you have not reached the pinnacle of your introspection game, I have a list of questions that you can ask yourself to see if you need to continue with what you are doing or if you need to shut down what you are doing and get back in the game.
