Many inspirational bloggers reference gratitude as a way of helping people enrich their lives. Admittedly it works. However, sometimes the glut of advice to be grateful deemphasizes its significance. One way to dig deeper into gratitude is to think outside of who we are and empathize with people who have less. We never want to compare ourselves, we simply want to connect with them to appreciate our gifts.
This week I am doing just that, focusing on needs that we all require yet not everyone has. The goal is to help us appreciate what we have that we truly need while also helping those less fortunate.
