442: Disconnecting from Technology: 3 Reasons You May Not Be Successful

Technology has become an integral part of our lives.  It assists us in a variety of ways each day.  Yet as helpful as it is there are times when it does the exact opposite.  It steals our focus, creates stress and distances us from each other.  Most specifically, the smartphone, an excellent tool, has become a crutch and addiction that many people cannot escape from.  Many psychologists, personal development coaches and thought leaders extol the benefits of disconnecting from technology throughout the day.  Articles on the internet abound with ways to become more in harmony with your devices.

However, many of those articles don't address the underlying reasons you cannot disconnect.  On today's ZEN commuter I talk about reasons why you have difficulty unplugging and how to change that.
