249: Creating and Keeping an Exercise Habit

Listen to this episode and all others below

"Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional and mental states" - Carol Welch

Exercise has always been a part of my life.  Prior to my becoming an author and podcaster I was a personal trainer.  It was my privilege to watch people conquer their fitness challenges.  However, once I left personal training it became more important for me to help people set themselves up for success in whatever way they needed.

That is why I became more invested in helping people live a calmer more satisfying life.  I felt that no one would be able to achieve any successes until they had the correct mental and spiritual framework.  However, this week I think it is time to emphasize that in order to make any changes you need to have a body that doesn't take up all of your focus.  When you are tired or unfit your body cries out for attention, deafening all other objectives.

This week I want to focus on the basics of a healthy exercise and nutrition plan.
